This tool addresses the significant token consumption issues faced by Large Language Model (LLM) agents when interacting with Slack through traditional MCP (Machine Comprehension Platform) servers. By providing a Docker-wrapped Slack server accessible via a CLI, it drastically reduces token usage—achieving up to a 98.7% reduction—while maintaining consistent LLM accuracy. This approach allows LLMs to compose commands, write wrappers, and leverage standard shell tools for scriptable and composable interactions with Slack, optimizing performance and cost for AI agents.
