By preserving only critical information such as decisions, failed experiments, warnings, and next steps, Stitch ensures that agents can seamlessly pick up exactly where previous work left off, reducing token waste and improving developer productivity. It supports automatic context discovery via MCP or injected instructions, and uses BM25 relevance search to locate the right task no matter the project directory.
