Terminal MCP provides AI assistants with a shared, real-time view and interactive control over your terminal session. It leverages xterm.js for full VT100/ANSI emulation and node-pty for cross-platform pseudo-terminal support, allowing AI to debug CLIs, interact with TUI applications, or autonomously drive terminal-based tools. It also features session recording to asciicast format, a simple API for terminal control, and an optional sandbox mode for enhanced security.
